Using the Recovery Hooks If you evergetstuck in sand,mud, ice orsnow,yourvehiclemay be equippedwithrecoveryhooks. The recoveryhooks are provided at the front of yourvehicle. You may need to usethem if you'restuckoff-road and need to be pulled to some place where you cancontinuedriving. CAUTION A Therecoveryhooks,whenused,areunder a lot of force.Alwayspul thevehiclestraightout.Never pull on thehooks at asideways angle.Thehooks could break off andyouorothers could be injured fromthe chain or cablesnapping back. 5-3 1
