7. Put the socket into the lampassembly and turn the socket clockwise untilit locks in place. Front Reading Lamps 1. Use a coin or small screwdriver to ew the unsc center of the overhead console lamp ler ; while pressing inan the lamp assembly. 2. Remove the lamp assembly from the cc isole. 8. Install the lampassembly and screws. 9. Close the endgate. Underhood Lamp 1. Disconnect the electrical connector the from underhood lamp assembly. 2. Remove thescrews. 3. Remove the bulb assembly from the lar ~passembly. 4. Pull the bulb .straight out the base. of 5. Put anew bulb into thebulb base. 3. Disconnect theground wire. 4. Remove the lamp assembly from thehood. 6. Install the bulb assembly into thelamp ssembly. 7. Place the lampassembly into the conso to latch it in place. 5 . Install thenew bulb. 6. Replace theassembly. Install and tighten the screws. 8. Install the lens. 7. Connect the ground wire. 8. Connect the electrical connector to the lamp assembly. 6-37
