NOTICE: When adding coolant, is important thatyou use it only DEX-COOL@(silicate-free) coolant. If coolant otherthan DEX-COOL is added to the system, premature engine, heater core or radiator corrosion may result. In addition, the engine coolantwill require change sooner at 30,000 miles (50 000 km) or24 months, whichever occurs first. Damage caused the use by of coolant other than DEX-COOL@ not is covered by your new vehicle warranty. What to Use Use a mixture one-half clean water(preferably of DEX-COOL@coolant which distilled) and one-half won't damage aluminum payts. you use this mixture, If you don't needto add anything else. -- 1 CAUTION: Adding only plain water to your cooling system can be dangerous. Plain water, some other or liquid likealcohol, can boil before the proper coolant mixturewill. Your vehicle's coolant warning system is set for the propercoolant mixture. With plain water the wrong mixture, or your engine could too hotbut you wouldn't get get the overheat warning. Your engine could catch fireand you or otherscould be burned. Use a 50/50 mixture of clean water and DEX-COOL@ coolant. I 6-26
