GENERAL INFORMATION 21 Tachometer The tachometer shows the engine speed in revolutions per minute (r/min, rpm). On the right side of the tachometer face is a portion called the "red zone". Unit Setting The unit setting in the meter instrument can be changed according to local regulations. Make sure the unit setting is correctly displayed before riding. 48 GENERAL INFORMATION ABS Indicator Light (For models equipped with KIBS) : Normally the ABS indicator light goes on when the ignition switch is turned "ON" and goes off shortly after the motorcycle starts moving. 68 GENERAL INFORMATION Side Stand The motorcycle is equipped with a side stand. Whenever the side stand is used, make it a practice to kick the stand fully up before sitting on the motorcycle.
