Parking brake (lever type) ! CAUTION Be careful when downshifting on a slippery surface. Abrupt shifting could cause the vehicle to spin or skid. Parking brake (pedal type) NOTICE Make sure the vehicle is completely stopped before shifting into reverse. To set: Pull up the lever. To release: Pull up slightly, press the thumb button, and lower. Before leaving your vehicle, firmly apply the parking brake. To set: Fully depress the pedal. To release: Pull the lever. Before leaving your vehicle, firmly apply the parking brake. ! CAUTION !
