Front doors and sliding door LOCKING WITH KEY Turn the key towards the front of the vehicle to lock and towards the back to unlock. Vehicles with power door lock system- The front, sliding and back doors lock simultaneously with either front door. To unlock the front, sliding and back doors simultaneously, turn the key twice in succession (driver's door lock) or once (passenger's door lock). On vehicles with a theft deterrent system, locking and unlocking the sliding door also controls the front and back doors. LOCKING WITH INSIDE LOCK KNOB Front doors-Turns the lock knob forward to lock and backward to unlock the front door. Sliding door-Slide the lock knob backward to lock and forward to unlock the sliding door. Closing the front door or sliding door with the lock knob in the lock position will also lock the front door or sliding door. Be careful not to lock your keys in the vehicle. Front doors cannot be locked with the lock knob if you leave the key in the ignition switch. 8
