'99 AVALON (USA/CANADA) −U Service reminder indicators and warning buzzers The thermometer indicates the outside air temperatures with the ignition key at the "ON" position. When the instrument panel lights are turned on, the brightness of the display will be reduced. If the indicator or buzzer comes on...(a) (type A) Do this. If the indicator or buzzer comes on...(f) Do this. If parking brake is off, stop and check. Fill up tank. (g) (type B) (b) Fasten seat belts. (type B) (Indicator and buzzer) (h) (c) Stop and check. (i) (d) Stop and check. (j) (e) Take vehicle to Toyota dealer. (type A) Take vehicle to Toyota dealer. Close all doors. Replace bulb. Take vehicle to Toyota dealer immediately. 90
