'02 SOLARA_U (L/O 0108) -Quarter windows Trunk lid (without wireless remote control)- CAUTION Keep the trunk lid closed while driving. This not only keeps the luggage from being thrown out but also prevents exhaust gases from entering the vehicle. Both quarter windows can be operated with the switch on the rear console. The windows move as long as you hold the switch. To open: Push on the switch. To close: Push on the switch. Visually check windows are completely lower side of the upper side of the that both quarter closed. To open the trunk lid from the outside, insert the master key and turn it clockwise. See "Luggage stowage precautions" in Section 2 for precautions in loading luggage. To close the trunk lid, lower it and press down on it. After closing the trunk lid, try pulling it up to make sure it is securely closed. WHEN YOU OPERATE THE CONVERTIBLE TOP CONTROL SWITCH The windows will automatically go down when the convertible top control switch is operated.
