Hold down the brake pedal firmly, and place the selector lever to "N" position. Make sure that the "N" indicator in the instrument cluster comes on. Then start your engine in a normal way. Manual transmission: Start your engine in the normal way. After starting, run it at about 2000 rpm for several minutes with the accelerator pedal lightly depressed.
