'03 SOLARA_U (L/O 0207) -Quarter windows (convertible) OPERATING WINDOW THE PASSENGER'S Trunk lid (without wireless remote control)- Use the switch on the passenger's door. The driver's door also has the switch that control the passenger's window. The window moves as long as you hold the switch. To open: Push down the switch. To close: Pull up the switch. If you push in the window lock switch on the driver's door, the passenger's window cannot be operated. Convertible-The window lock switch also locks the quarter windows. WHEN YOU OPERATE THE CONVERTIBLE TOP CONTROL SWITCH The windows will automatically go down when the convertible top control switch is operated. See "Convertible top" in this section. Both quarter windows can be operated with the switch on the rear console. The windows move as long as you hold the switch. To open: Push on the switch. To close: Push on the switch. Visually check windows are completely lower side of the upper side of the that both quarter closed. To open the trunk lid from the outside, insert the master key and turn it clockwise. See "Luggage stowage precautions" in Section 2 for precautions in loading luggage. To close the trunk lid, lower it and press down on it. After closing the trunk lid, try pulling it up to make sure it is securely closed.
