'03 TUNDRA_U (L/O 0208) (a) Front drive control (button type) Use the "2WD/4HI" and "4LO" buttons to select the following transfer modes. 1. "2WD" (high speed position, two- wheel drive): "2WD/4HI" and "4LO" buttons left out Use this for normal driving on dry, hard-surfaced roads. This position gives greater economy, the quietest ride and least wear. 2. "4HI" (high speed position, four- wheel drive): "2WD/4HI" button pushed in The "4HI" (high speed four-wheel drive) indicator light comes on when the "4HI" mode is selected. Use this for normal driving on wet, icy or snow-covered roads. This position provides greater traction than two- wheel drive. 3. "4LO" (low speed position, four- wheel drive): With the "2WD/4HI" button pressed in, push the "4LO" button The "4LO" (low speed four-wheel drive) indicator light comes on when the "4LO" mode is selected. Use this for maximum power and traction.
