'05 Corolla_U (L/O 0409) When any door is unlocked using either the key or the wireless remote control transmitter, the light will come on and remain on for 15 seconds before fading out. To prevent the battery being discharged, the light will automatically turn off when the key is removed and the door is left opened with the dial in the DOOR position for 20 minutes or more. INSTRUMENT PANEL LIGHT To adjust the brightness of the instrument panel lights, turn the dial. Type B only- Full intensity position: This position always keeps the brightness of the instrument panel lights at full intensity even when the tail lights/headlights are turned on. If you have to turn on the tail lights/headlights in daytime, or if the daytime running light control sensor activates in circumstances such as shade, the brightness of instrument cluster will be reduced.
