Shift the transmission selector lever to "P" position. l Brake pedal is not depressed when starting the hybrid system. Depress brake pedal firmly. m Transmission selector lever is not set "P" position. Shift the transmission selector lever to "P" position. D "POWER" switch is not turned off when getting out n vehicle carrying the electronic key. D Turn hybrid system off. D Confirm that the key is in the vehicle. D Electronic key is not detected in the vehicle when "POWER" switch is set at ON. o Electronic key battery is low. Replace key battery. p Steering lock system malfunction is detected.
