SAFETY AND EMERGENCY FEATURES Jump starting 12-volt battery location To access the battery, remove the cover. Connecting jumper cables Recommended connection point for negative terminal + Depress Push Connect positive (red) jumper cable to the positive (+) terminal on the discharged 12-volt battery. Connect positive (red) jumper cable to the positive (+) terminal on the booster battery. Connect negative (black) jumper cable to the negative (-) terminal on the booster battery. Connect negative (black) jumper cable to the recommended connecting point of the vehicle with the discharged battery. Depress brake pedal, and press "POWER" switch to start the vehicle.
