07 04.26 -Temporary spare tire The temporary spare tire is designed for temporary emergency use only. See also the tire information on page 548 through 557 in Section 7 −2 for details on the treadwear indicators and other service information. CAUTION D The temporary spare tire was designed especially for your Toyota. Do not use it on any other vehicle. D Do not use more than one temporary spare tire at the same time. D The pressure for the temporary spare tire must be 230 kPa (2.3 kgf/cm2 or 2.3 bar, 33 psi). D Do not exceed 80 km/h (50 mph) when driving with the temporary spare tire. NOTICE The temporary spare tire does not have a tire pressure warning valves and transmitters. If you replace one of the road tires with the spare, the tire pressure warning light may be illuminated. Tire pressure warning system should be operated properly by re −install the road tire containing the tire pressure warning valves and transmitters. D Replace the temporary spare tire with the standard tire as soon as possible.
