06 12.21 Engine coolant temperature indicator and warning light If the low fuel level warning light flashes, fill the fuel tank as soon as possible. Further fuel reduction makes the light blink quicker. If the fuel tank is completely empty, the malfunction indicator lamp comes on. Fill the fuel tank immediately. The indicator lamp goes off after driving several times. If the indicator lamp does not go off, contact your Toyota dealer as soon as possible. With tachometer 1. Low engine coolant temperature indicator light 2. High engine coolant temperature warning light PS16505a The indicator and warning lights indicate the engine coolant temperature when the ignition switch is on. The engine operating temperature will vary with changes in weather and engine load. The high engine coolant temperature warning light will come on when the ignition key is turned to the "ON" position. After a few seconds, the light will go off. If your engine coolant temperature is cool with the ignition switch on, the low engine coolant temperature indicator light comes on. If it keeps lighting on with the engine fully warmed, contact your Toyota dealer as soon as possible to service the vehicle. If the high engine coolant temperature warning light flashes, your engine is too hot. If your vehicle overheats, stop your vehicle and allow the engine to cool.
