07 11.20 -Before using the accessory meter Operate the accessory meter with the engine switch on. When the engine switch is turned to "ON", the last previously used mode displayed just before the engine switch is turned off will appear. When the instrument panel lights are turned on, the brightness of the display will be reduced. SELECTING UNIT You can select the unit between English/U.S. customary system and metric unit. Vehicles play- without multi −information dis- -Outside temperature display (without cruise information) To select unit A (English/U.S. customary system) or unit B (metric unit), push the "SETUP US/M" button. The unit variations are as follows: Information Average fuel consumption and Instantaneous fuel consumption Driving range Outside temperature Unit A Unit B XS10003b CAUTION Do not adjust the display while the vehicle is moving. Be sure to adjust the display only when the vehicle is stopped. MPG L/100 km The displayed temperature ranges from −40_F (−40_C) up to 122_F (50_C). The engine switch must be in the "ON" position. MILES _F km _C Vehicles with multi −information display- By changing the multi −information display unit, the outside temperature display on the accessory meter will change. (See "Multi −information display" on page 187 in Section 1−6 for selecting unit.) If an abnormality exists in the connection of the outside air temperature sensor F C") will appear on the display.
