Maintenance Log 30,000 miles or 36 months Lubricate propeller shaft (4WD) Re-torque propeller shaft bolt Replace engine air filter Replace engine oil and oil filter1 Replace rear differential oil (Prerunner and 4WD vehicles with optional limited slip differential only) Replace spark plugs (1GR-FE engine only)4 Rotate tires Inspect the following: Ball joints and dust covers Brake lines and hoses Brake linings/drums and brake pads/discs5 Drive shaft boots (4WD) Engine coolant6 Exhaust pipes and mountings Front differential oil (4WD) Fuel lines and connections, fuel tank band and fuel tank vapor vent system hoses Fuel tank cap gasket Radiator and condenser Rear differential oil (except Prerunner and 4WD vehicles with optional limited slip differential only) Steering gear box Steering linkage and boots Transfer case oil (4WD) Transmission fluid or oil Note: Driving in heavy traffic, on dirt roads or in urban, dusty or desert areas may shorten the life of the cabin air filter. Replacement may be needed if you notice reduced air flow from the air conditioner and heater or if the windows fog easily when you use the ЉFreshЉ mode. Consult your dealer if any of these conditions occur. Additional Maintenance Items for Special Operating Conditions2 Driving on dirt roads or dusty roads: Tighten nuts and bolts on chassis and body Driving while towing: Replace front differential oil (4WD) Replace manual transmission oil Replace rear differential oil DEALER SERVICE VERIFICATION: Replace transfer case oil (4WD) Tighten nuts and bolts on chassis and body MAINTENANCE DATE: MILEAGE: 1 2 3 4 5 6 Reset the oil replacement reminder light ("MAINT REQD") or the message "OIL MAINTENANCE REQUIRED" on the multi-information display after engine oil replacement. Perform these service items only if you drive primarily under the conditions indicated. Includes operating on roads which road salt has been applied. Maintenance services of spark plugs are required under the terms of the Emissions Control Warranty. Inspect thickness measurement and disc runout.
