5-1. Essential information Towing eyelet ITO51P107 n Emergency towing procedure STEP 1 Release the parking brake. STEP 2 Turn the "POWER" switch to ON mode. STEP 3 Shift the shift lever to N. CAUTION n While towing l Use extreme caution when towing the vehicle. Avoid sudden starts or erratic driving maneuvers which place excessive stress on the emergency towing eyelet and the cable or chain. Always be cautious of the surroundings and other vehicles while towing. l Do not turn the "POWER" switch off. This may lead to an accident as the front wheels will be locked by the parking lock. l If the hybrid system is not operating, the power assist for the brakes and steering will not function, making steering and braking more difficult. NOTICE n To prevent causing serious damage to the transmission Never tow this vehicle from the rear with the four wheels on the ground.
