Steps to take in an emergency Warning light Warning light/Details Automatic transmission fluid temperature warning light • When the light comes on: Indicates that the automatic transmission fluid temperature is too high. • When the light flashes: Indicates a malfunction in the automatic transmission fluid temperature warning system. Power steering warning light Indicates a malfunction in the variable flow control power steering system. *4 Follow the correction procedures. After taking the specified steps to correct the suspected problem, check that the warning light turns off. Warning light Warning light/Details Correction procedure Open door warning light (warning buzzer)*1 Indicates that a door or back door is not fully closed. 5 Check that all doors are closed.
