Remove the thermal module. Removing the CPU 1. Turn the CPU lock anti-clockwise with a flat screwdriver as shown. 2. Remove the CPU from the main board. Removing the Main Board 1. Disconnect the microphone cable. 2. Unscrew 2 screws that secure the main board. 3. Carefully remove the main board. Removing the Modem / Bluetooth Card 1. Unscrew 2 screws that secure the modem/bluetooth combo card. 2. Remove the modem/bluetooth combo card and disconnect the connector as shown. 3. Disconnect the bluetooth antenna and modem cable from the modem/bluetooth combo card. 58 Chapter 3
