4. Remove the touchpad bracket from the upper cover. Figure 1-46. Touchpad Bracket 5. Insert a small flat-blade screwdriver between the touchpad board and the upper cover, and carefully pry the board loose. Remove the touchpad board from the palm rest. Figure 1-47. Touchpad Board NOTE: NOTE: A circuit board that is > 10cm2 has been highlighted with a yellow rectangle in Figure 1-47.
