Setup
Instructions
1.
Oper
the
battery
cover
on
your
TuneCast
transmitter.
Install
the
included
MA
batteries,
and
replace
the
battery
cover.
2.
Rine
your
FM
radio
receiver
to
channels
.1,
88.3,
88.5,
and
83.7,
noting
which
channel
is
the
clearest.
The
ideal
channel
is
one
that
has
a
very
weak
radio
station,
or
no
radio
station
at
all,
broadcasting
on
it.
3.
Set
the
channel
selection
switch
on
the
side
of
your
llineCast
transmitter
to
the
channel
decided
upon
in
step
2,
above.
4.
Connect
the
3.5mm
headphone
plug
on
the
cable
attached
to
your
llineCast
transmitter
to
the
headphone
or
line-out
jack
on
your
MP3
player
or
other
audio
source.
5.
Set
the
volume
adjustment
on
your
MP3
player
or
other
audio
source
to
a
medium
level.
6.
Press
the
power
button
on
your
TuneCast
transmitter.
The
power
indicator
LED
light
on
the
TuneCast
transmitter
will
indicate
that
the
power
is
on.
7.
'Dane
your
FM
radio
to
the
channel
decided
upon
in
step
2,
above.
8.
Adjust
the
volume
control
of
your
FM
radio
to
the
desired
listemng
level.
For
best
results:
Try
to
keep
the
llineCast
transmitter
close
to
the
antenna
of
your
PM
radio.
While
the
transmitter
often
works
at
distances
of
30
feet
or
more,
a
distance
of
10
feet
or
less
will
minimize
interference
and
provide
the
strongest
signal.
Keep
fresh
batteries
in
the
llineCast
transmitter.
When
the
batteries
become
very
low,
the
transmission
strength
will
weaken.
