Install the Software (Windows) • With Windows XP/2000, you should log on with an administrator user name when you install or uninstall software programs. 1 Turn the computer on. Scanning Film (for CanoScan 5000F) You can scan 35 mm film (a film strip or slides) with this scanner. Positioning the Film Use the following procedures to insert the film into the film guide. 1 Remove the protective sheet from the document cover. Slide the protective sheet up to remove it.
