Setting the Date and Time The Date/Time menu will appear the first time the camera power is turned on or whenever the built-in rechargeable lithium battery charge is low. Turning Off the Start-Up Sound and Start-Up Image Hold the SET button down while turning on the power. Auto Power Down Function This camera is equipped with an Auto Power Down function. Using the LCD Monitor The LCD monitor can be used to compose images while shooting, adjust settings menus and replay images. Using the Flash Auto The flash fires automatically as required by the light level. Red-Eye Reduction Auto The red-eye reduction lamp fires with each shot, automatically adjusting the intensity to suit lighting levels. Flash On The flash fires with every shot.
