Troubleshooting 1. Engine will not start: • Battery has low voltage • Loose or corroded battery flat surface with the engine off and the parking brake ON. If servicing under the cargo bed, be sure that the cargo bed is supported so that it can not inadvertently close. Jack the rear of the utility vehicle only after placing a wooden block under the right (a) and left frame tube (b) for securing the engine and then supporting it. Do not apply jack pressure on the steel plate directly under the engine. See Figure 5-8. Spark Arrestor The spark arrestor (a) should be removed, inspected and cleaned every 100 hours of use. The spark arrestor (a) is located inside of muffler (b) body and fastened with bolts.
