Installing the toner cartridge 1. Press latch 1 to open the lower door. Press latch 2 to open the upper door. 2. Grasp the toner cartridge by the handle and pull it up and out. 3. Attaching the wire bail The wire bail keeps paper from sliding out of the output bin. 1. Remove the printer top cover and slide the plastic bracket onto the static brush holder. Installing an optional duplex unit The duplex unit attaches under the printer, below the standard tray and above any optional paper drawers. 1. Place the duplex unit on top of any installed drawers, or the table or printer cabinet where you plan to use the printer. Selecting the appropriate print media for your printer helps you avoid printing problems.
