Chapter1 APD Overview Advanced Printer Driver Installation Manual Introduction The EPSON Advanced Printer Driver (hereafter referred to as APD) is a Windows driver for EPSON TM printers and customer displays. Procedure The procedure for test printing is as follows. 1.Open the Printers and Faxes screen. . If the test print was output correctly, click the [OK] button. If the test print was not output correctly, click the [Troubleshoot...] button and perform troubleshooting in accordance with the Windows message. Advanced Printer Driver Installation Manual Adding or Removing Printers To add a printer to the computer or remove a printer that is no longer necessary from the computer, follow the procedures below. Installation Manual Changing the Printer Driver Port Settings To change the port settings of a printer driver such as the communication conditions for a serial connection or the IP address of a printer using Ethernet connection, follow the procedure below. but without changing the connected printer model, such as when changing the printer from a serial model to a parallel model, change the Epson Port for the printer driver to make the changes easier. 1.
