CONTROL OPERATION 1 RHYTHM PICKUP 2 LEAD PICKUP 1 3 VOLUME CONTROL 4 TONE CONTROL 5 PICKUP SELECTOR SWITCH When this switch is pointed toward the peghead, only the Rhythm Pickup 1 will be in use. STRING HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT Each Bridge Section 1 may be adjusted to the height desired. Adjustments are made by turning the two Height Adjustment Screws 2 on each section. INTONATION ADJUSTMENT The Bridge on your new Fender allows length adjustment of each string to assure perfect intonation. For greatest accuracy, these adjustments should be made when strings are in new condition. To adjust each string: Play the open string harmonic at the twelfth fret. PICKUP ADJUSTMENT The Pickups on your new Fender are fully adjustable for height. For maximum output, the Pickups should be adjusted so that they are parallel to the strings.
