up USB printing is a new feature on the latest HP LaserJet printers and MFPs. This allows customers to print supported file formats directly from a supported USB storage device and does not require the printer to be connected to a PC. will need to change the file format using software or creating a .prn file using an HP print driver. NOTE: Changing the file extension does not error that requires the user to power cycle the printer before it can operate normally. Then click on Configure under Device Security Settings. Then scroll down to the USB printing section. Here you can Disable or Enable the functionality.
