StoreOnce serial numbers When redeeming licenses for the StoreOnce VSA, the HP licensing portal will ask for a UUID (a unique identifier with which a license is generated). 2 Deployment using HP StoreOnce Enterprise Manager (SEM) Introduction This is the recommended deployment option because it guides you through the deployment steps and incorporates a number of checks and processes that ensure a successful deployment or graceful failback should deployment fail. This process is also supported on a vSphere web client. IMPORTANT: SEM is the recommended deployment option because it guides the user through the steps and required, or you wish to manually configure eth0 or eth1 or both, this must be done after deployment using the StoreOnce CLI. click Next> 8. Select a datastore from the list and click Next> Only one datastore may be selected at deployment and it will be used for the StoreOnce VSA system files. This datastore requires a minimum of 50 GB free space. 9. Check that the disk format, Thin Provision, is selected and click Next> The deployment creates the Thin Provisioned virtual disk for the operating system.
