650 MHz and Higher

If you are using the HP NetServer LPr with Intel Pentium III 650-MHz or higher CPU, you will need the following

items for support:

1.

BIOS version must be 40630 (version 30) or later.

You can download this BIOS from the web at

or from the Navigator CD version L18.XX or higher.

2.

VRMs must be 8.4 and 5 volts.

VRM 8.3 is not supported.

Motherboard part numbers must be one of the following :

NOTE

If you purchased a HP NetServer LPr system with a 650-MHz or higher speed, you already have

all the components listed above.

If you have a HP NetServer LPr 600-MHz or lower, you can not

upgrade to the higher processor speeds, as this is not supported.
