Cluster Configuration Guide
July 31, 1998
Introduction
This document defines the supported HP NetServer LXr Pro with HP A3661B High Availability Disk Array
Model 30/FC (LXr Pro/ Model 30-FC) configurations for Microsoft Cluster Server.
These configurations
minimize single points of failure and provide maximum availability.
They have been certified by Hewlett-
Packard and Microsoft.
This guide is prescriptive; it describes the configurations supported by HP.
If you create any configuration not
expressly allowed by this guide it will not be supported by HP.
HP NetServer clusters have been carefully
designed and tested to allow as much configuration flexibility as possible consistent with high-availability.
