2 Procedures Procedures to reset the Digital Press to its baseline condition for dripping issues. Preliminary procedures Following are the preliminary procedures. 1. 9. Verify that the cleaning station sponge and wetting rollers are in good condition, and not damaged in any way. 10. Check that there is no gap between the external heater hood and rear press wall. Figure 2-9 Seal between the external heater hood and rear press wall 11. At the press rear, verify that the external heater hood fan is aligned with the suction duct. c. Disconnect the return imaging oil hose from the reservoir. Figure 2-25 Return imaging oil hose at reservoir d. Insert the return imaging oil hose into the reservoir opening. e. 2. Open the rear utility cabinet door cover, and use an I-gun or a thermocouple to measure the heat exchanger. It should be very cold: ~1°C to 3°C. Visually check if the 2 bearing left marks on the substrate. Marks on the substrate, indicate that the PIP engaged successfully. 5. FFM air flow Disconnect the FFM pipe, and verify that there is air flow from the pipe. Air should flow from the pipe when the press is in Standby status. With the press in Ready (print) status, touch Main Menu > Press status > System status, and verify that temperature values are within specifications.
