HP Server Extraction Handle Installation
The following includes steps to install the extraction handle in the hp Integrity rx1600 Server. The extraction handle is
used when extending the server from a rack.

Installing the Extraction Handle
The installation procedure requires removal of the right front bezel.
1.
Remove the T10 screw securing the right front bezel to the chassis.
2.
Pull the right front bezel to the right, away from the chassis.
3.
Insert the ends of the extraction handle into perforated chassis holes shown in
Figure 1
.
4.
Rotate the handle to the horizontal position.
5.
Push the handle in until it snaps into place as shown in
Figure 2
.
6.
Replace the right front bezel and secure it with the T10 screw.
