5. Remove the bracket from the computer. 6. Insert a Philips screwdriver into the plus signs (+) on each fan plate, and then twist the screwdriver to release the four plates from the bracket. On many OMEN by HP and HP ENVY Desktop PCs, you can install a 120 mm × 120 mm top fan.
Install the top fan
Use this procedure to install the top fan into the computer.
1.
Remove the left side access panel.
2.
Position the computer on its side.
3.
Find the top fan bracket on the inside top of the computer.
4.
Remove the two screws that secure the bracket.
