Accessories Installing and Removing Accessories To remove accessories from the OmniBook The OmniBook's center drive bay can hold a CD-ROM drive, a floppy-disk drive, or a high-capacity (2nd) battery for extra power. Important Parallel port The external floppy drive works only with the OmniBook's parallel port. Fully charged battery To replace the battery The primary source of power for the OmniBook is its rechargeable battery. Accessories Installing and Removing Accessories To install a high-capacity battery To increase the time you can work on battery power, you can install a second, high-capacity battery in the OmniBook's center drive bay. 1.
