On ProLiant Gen 8 servers, you can install the HP Agentless Management Service using: HP Intelligent Provisioning, Service Pack for ProLiant, or the VMware offline bundles and custom image. The HP Agentless Management Service runs under the OS and uses the established HP iLO Device Driver interface - HP ProLiant DL360e | HP Systems Insight Manager 7.0 and HP Agentless Management - Page 4
capabilities in the OS. The software collects server-specific, OS-specific, and industry-standard data. The service bundles the data and makes it available to either the System Management Homepage or a remote management application, such as HP SIM.
