Quick Setup

Carefully remove the workstation from the box and place it
on a sturdy, level surface. Remove all plastic packaging.
NOTE:
Before you begin the setup procedures, please read
the Warnings included herein.

Push down firmly to unload the
latch in the stand.

Grasp the bottom and top edge of the workstation. Push
and hold the green button to raise the workstation to its
maximum horizontal height.

Connect the power cord to
the workstation.

Grasp the bottom and
top edge of the
workstation to maneuver
to the desired angle.

Route the power cord through
the stand and plug it into an
easily accessible, grounded
(earthed) three-pin outlet.

Press the power button.

For a wireless keyboard and
mouse, turn on power on
mouse (1); remove battery tab
on bottom of keyboard. Press
Connect
buttons on mouse (2)
and keyboard (3) for five
seconds.
Note:
The HP Z1 Workstation also
supports a wired keyboard and
mouse.

Refer to the user guide for instructions on connecting to a
network using the Wireless LAN, wired LAN, or Bluetooth.

Connect other peripheral components (such as a printer)
according to the instructions included with the device.
Warnings
WARNING!
To reduce the risk of electric shock or damage to your equipment:
Plug the power cord into an AC grounded (earthed) outlet.
Disconnect power from the computer by unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet (not by unplugging the power cord from
the computer).
Do not disable the power cord grounding pin, for example, by attaching a two-pin adapter. The grounding pin is an important
safety feature.
