This chapter describes how to connect the product to the TV with the particular equipments for gaining optimum signal quality. The product provides various interfaces to connect to the TV, VCR or other devices. Select the most appropriate procedure depending on the equipment you have. Note: • If you encounter any problems setting up your product, please contact your local product distributor. • The rear image of the TV and VCR may differ depending on the manufacturer and model. You can select one of the following antenna connections depending on the equipment you have. The product has two antenna modes according to setting. 1. Connect the antenna cable to LNB IN 1. 2. Connect the other cable from LNB OUT to LNB IN 2. Note: • Connect to LNB IN 1 when using the motor antenna or SMATV antenna. • The product detects the antenna connection type automatically. • You can switch channels while Tuner 2 is in recording mode if the channel being recorded shares the same polarity as the other channel. However, you cannot watch a channel with a different polarity from the channel being recorded. Connect the two antenna cables providing different broadcasting signals to you product. You can configure LNB1 and LNB2 independently.
