In order to maintain proper performance of the product, it is essential to have the most up-to-date software. Visit the HUMAX website to check the latest news and newly released software versions. (http://www.humaxdigital.com) It is recommended that you periodically check for the availability of software update. OTA, an abbreviation of Over-the-Air, means that the software can be downloaded through your aerial. You can also search and download new software manually. MENU -> Setting -> nstallation -> Software Update 1. Automatic Update When new software is detected, select Yes to start the update process now. 2. Manual Update Enter the value for Satellite, Frequency, Polarzation, Symbol Rate and FEC. MENU -> Setting -> Installation -> Factory Default 1. Select Yes and press the OK button to reset all values to the factory default. 2. You will be prompted to enter the password. Note: • The default password is 0000. If you have forgotten your password, contact your local distributor. • To format the HDD, mark Format HDD. ** Warning: Note that once you perform factory default, all user configured data will be reset. Shortly after you complete the factory default, the installation wizard will appear automatically.
