Charging the Battery The SR61B uses a lithium-ion battery as its main power source. You need to fully charge the battery before you can use the SR61B. Chapter 1 - Introducing the SR61B Cordless Scanner Beeps and Vibrate Alert The SR61B beeps to give you audio feedback and vibrates when performing some functions.
