IPAC uses VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) technology through a high-speed Internet connection for

telephony. This new technology requires the services of an Internet Telephony Service Provider (ITSP), which uses SIP

(Session Initiation Protocol) to function. ITSPs deliver their service by configuring an IP-based device (such as IPAC) with

a SIP account, allowing the device to transmit digital voice data packets through the Internet, into inbound/outbound

calls. This technology and service are a replacement for the traditional POTS (Plain Old Telephone Service)-based

telephony and their providers.

To ensure the best call reliability and service, LiftMaster has entered an exclusive partnership with Phone.com, a leading
