Should the mower remain plugged into the charger when not in use?
Yes, it is rec-
ommended to continually charge the mower when not in use.
What is the recommended tire pressure, and how often should I check the air pres-
sure in the tires?
For best performance, we recommend a cold tire pressure of 19 psi in
the front tires and 18 psi in the rear tires. Check the tire pressure before each use.
What can cause the blades to stop during use?
Check the battery level indicator. The
deck motor will turn off when battery power gets low to allow you enough time to drive
back to the charging location. Drive back and charge battery immediately.
If battery level is not low, try slowing down and/or raising the cutting deck to a higher
level. High load applications can also cause one or both deck motors to stop.
Sometimes the mower accelerates when traveling downhill and sometimes it
doesn’t. Why is that?
For your safety and better performance, the mower is designed
to automatically limit its speed when traveling on a slope. This may cause fluctuations
in speed.
Why won’t my mower go forward again after I’ve stopped?
Move the drive levers to
the neutral position, then open and close the drive levers to reset. Then try again.
When operating this mower, how do I stop?
To stop the mower during normal oper-
ation, move the drive levers to the neutral position. To stop in an emergency or when
parking, press the brake pedal.
Why doesn’t my mower drive straight when the drive levers are together?
Verify
the drive levers are mounted in the same holes on both sides and are adjusted at the
same angle. See
Adjusting the Drive Levers
in your operator’s manual if adjustment is
needed.
Why does the mower make a beeping sound when I leave the seat?
The park-
ing brake has not been engaged and/or the mower key is still installed and in the ON
position. Always remove the key and set the parking brake when the mower is not in use.
When should I use the parking brake?
Always engage the parking brake before getting
off the mower.
Can I rinse off the mower deck with a garden hose?
Do not use water or other liquids
to clean. Use a blower or air compressor instead.
What options do I have for my grass clippings?
Allow grass clippings to exit through
the side discharge, install the mulching plug for finer clippings, or install the bagging kit
(sold separately) to bag grass clippings.
How should I store my mower for the winter?
The mower should be kept indoors,
plugged into the charger, and away from harsh temperatures that reach less than 10
˚
F.
Always remove the key and keep it in an area inaccessible to children.
