MPEG PROGRAM UPDATE

After saving the mpeg update program to

your USB flash drive, turn on your home

theater and TV.

Set the TV to the home theater’s source,

and then connect the USB flash drive to

your home theater.

Press [Aux] on the home theater’s remote

control until your TV set displays the USB

input.

Use the up/down arrow buttons to highlight

the update file, and then press enter to

select the file. The update begins.

Important:

Do not halt or interrupt the

update process after it begins.

Note:

The screen flashes during the update

When the update process finishes, the

home theater system automatically turns off

and then on, and the disc tray opens.

After the update process finishes, press and

hold [Stop] on the home theater for more

than five seconds to initialize the home

theater. It is now ready for use.

Note:

Pressing the [Stop] button on the

remote control does not initialize the unit.

You should check MPEG Version to make

sure the updating process has been

completed correctly.

To check the MPEG Version, access the

menu, and then press 8, 9, 5 on your

remote. The screen pictured to the left

should appear. The mpeg version is on top.
