Preparation Charging the battery pack To charge the battery pack, use the battery charger. For details, refer to the instruction manual of the battery charger. 1 Connect the power cord to a wall outlet. 2 Insert the battery pack in the direction of the $ mark. Changing the lithium battery in the camera When the lithium battery becomes weak or dead, the "I" indicator flashes on the LCD screen. In this case, replace the battery with a Sony CR2025 or Duracell DL-2025 lithium battery. Use of any other battery may present a risk of fire or explosion.
