Set up Event Detection and Receive Notifications If your camera supports the corresponding functions, Event Detection allows IP Cameras to be triggered to record when certain events occur. Lock a Recording Important recordings can be locked in order to ensure they are not accidentally deleted when the system wipes old files. To lock recordings: 1 Right-click Select the cameras you wish to lock.
