Note that the IF-FW/DM firmware updater is built into the Windows control panel while

it is a separate app for OSX.

Note that only Windows requires the v1.10 driver

update since OSX includes its own

drivers for the IF-FW/DM.

Maintenance Items

•

Sync reliability between the IF-FW/DM and a host PC has been improved.

Installation for PC:

Perform the steps below in the following order:

Updating the Windows Driver

•

Update the IF-FW/DM Windows driver by running the v1.10 installer.

It will

prompt you then automatically uninstall the previous version.

Updating the IF-FW/DM Firmware

1.

Under the Tools menu of the IF-FW/DM control panel, select the menu item to

Update Firmware on Card.

2.

You will be prompted to locate the v1.01 .bcd file.

Installation for Mac:

Your Mac must meet the minimum system requirements for the IF-FW/DM to perform

the following update.

If it does not, your IF-FW/DM could experience an incomplete

firmware update, requiring its replacement. Please refer to the IF-FW/DM Owner’s

Manual if you are unsure about the minimum system requirements.

Run the OSX IF-FW/DM Firmware Updater and follow the detailed on screen

instructions

2.

You will be prompted to locate the v1.10 .bcd file
