for Evaporator Wire Harness Kit
— 1 —
Kit Contains:
1.
Unplug refrigerator or disconnect power.
2.
Replace the evaporator wire harness, making sure the
thermistor is attached to the suction tubing coming directly
out of the evaporator. See
Figure 1
.

IMPORTANT:
You may need to adjust the clamp on the thermistor
before installing. If the measurement is greater than ¼” you will
need to use a pair of slip pliers to gently squeeze the clamp to
the proper distance. Be sure not to crimp the thermistor while
closing the gap. See
Figure 2
.
WARNING
Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before servicing.
Failure to do so can result in death
or electrical shock.
Replace all parts and panels before
operating.

Replace all parts and panels.

Verify the thermistor is tight and in full contact with the suction
tubing directly coming out of the evaporator.
IMPORTANT:
There is a ridge from the tubing fitting. Make sure
you do not install the thermistor over this ridge. The tubing and
thermistor need to be in full contact. A zip tie is suggested to keep
the thermistor tight and secure as shown See
Figure 3
.

Plug into a grounded 3 prong outlet.
Do not remove ground prong.
Do not use an adapter.
Do not use an extension cord.
