Outside Power Remote Control Mirror (Option) If your Buick has the power mirror, the control is located on the driver's door. Automatic Dimming Outside Rearview Mirror (Option) If you have this option, the driver's side outside mirror will adjust for the glare of headlamps behind you. This feature is controlled by the on and off settings on the automatic electrochromic day/night rearview mirror. See "Electrochromic Daymight Rearview Mirror" earlier in this section. Convex Outside Mirror Your passenger's side mirror is convex. A convex mirror's surface is curved so you can see more from the driver's seat. Move the switch in the middle of the control to choose the right or left mirror. Push the arrow controls in the direction you want to move the mirror. Adjust each mirror so you can just see the side of your vehicle and the area behind your vehicle. A CAT 'TION: A convex mirror can make things (like other vehicles) look farther away than they really are. If you cut too sharply into the right lane, you could hit a vehicle your right. Check your on inside mirror or glance over your shoulder before changing lanes. 2-46
